The Math Behind Deal Scores
A deal score from 0 to 100 is calculated based on four main pillars:
- Discount Percentage (up to 40 points): The percentage saved vs. current market value.
- Estimated Resale Profit (up to 25 points): Net profit margin calculated after typical selling and payment processing fees (10%).
- Historical Appreciation (up to 20 points): Rolling 12-month value growth tracked by BrickEconomy.
- Retired & Collector Status (up to 15 points): Bonuses for retired UCS sets, modular buildings, and sets with high piece counts.
